As u know our Spectra is assisted with power steering motor pumps that is rack and pinion type links to the driver steering wheel.It is connected via joints and shafts and hydraulic pressure is run by the pump thru power steering pressure hose. As the system works u will find the steering response is smooth and light.
Most common wear and tear to service or replaced our genuine parts that will cause leaking out power steering fluid:-
- Leak,jammed ,crack O rings sealant Power Steering Motor Pump assy.
- Upper part power steering pressure hose
- Lower part joining power steering pressure hose
- Power steering fluid reservoir tank
- Reservoir tank hose to motor pump
- Crack pulley bearing.
If the above symphtoms happen to ur Spectra, pls dont wait as ur power steering fluid level will be very low which could jammed the hydraulic motor pump and the dangerous part is u steering suddenly will becomes heavy and heavier with a roaring loud noise.
