Spectra Wheel Balancing and alignment

Salam Spectrans,

Just want to info what is wheel balancing and wheel alignment:-
When u need wheel balancing:-
1.Vibrations on ur steering wheel while on high speed at highways @ 100-160kmh
2.Vibrations at floorboard and seats when at high speed.
3.Uneven tyres wear off .
4. Bend rims.
All of the above symptoms u need to do WHEEL Balancing. Theres 2 type and ways of wheel balancing:-
1. OFF WHEEL Balancing
2. ON WHEEL Balancing.

Off Wheel Balancing is where ur tires are take off from the hub and balance and weight by a wheel balancer machine.It will determine how much lead balancing weight which shows the heavy part of the tyres should be equally balance.This type sometimes dont give the accurate balance while on high speed .

The accurate type of performance car need to equal balance their wheels as most drive on high speed, u need to do both first do the OFF Wheel and then do the ON WHEEL Balancing. On wheel balancing is used a special machine that will spin ur wheels at high speed as to get the correct lead balancing weight apply to the rims. On this method u will find the smooth steering wheel when on high speed not even a slight vibrations.

                      The photo shows how ON WHEEL BALANCING is done @ Kia Spectra 17" rims.with tyre 215/45Zr/17.

For Wheel Alignment symptoms of alignment is out :-
1.Uneven  and rapid tyre wear off mostly at one side...
2.Pulling or drifting away from a straight line, normally pull to the left.
3.Ur Steering Wheel is pulling on one side.
Then u need a 4 wheel alignment to realignment back the toe in and toe out chamber.
