For yr info pleased be guided and check yr acond system. All Spectra bought new have no air cond cabin filter install. The function of this ori korean Filter is to trapped down all tiny particles such as debris, sand, leaves moister thru yr blower motor straight to the cooling coil on the right hand side in yr dashboard.
In between the blower motor and the cooling coil theres a special compartment for installing 2 pcs of cabin filter where it can safe ur cooling coil collects dirt and debris as in due time it will leaks the aluminium fins..
As a result u will get a warm hot air instead of cool aired.
So as the second picture shows a leak ,dirty cooling coil had to be taken out from the dashboard and replace new ori sets of
1. Cooling Coil (aluminium double layer type)
2.Xpansion Valve, o rings, oil seals
3.Receiver Dryer
4.Hoses
5.Gas
6.Conditioner oil for the Compressor.
So this service maintenance is costly where they need to take out the whole dashboard out in order to released the blower motor, cooling coil assy unit.
So to Spectrans and all newbies the main thing and reasons ur coil leaks is because NO CABIN FILTER INSTALL and urged those to fix asap.Need the ori parts can reach me 017-7200466. D.I.Y. on fixing it. Wasalam
