Auto Transmission Full Service Maintenance Every 40K km OR 2-3 years.
- Symptoms that Spectrans commonly come across:-
- When engaged at 'D' the car never moves instantly, need to warm up few minutes.
- Shifting from Gear D-2-3-4 is jerking and stalling
- Heavy accelerations as the car is not free to move.
- Yr auto indicator at the meter panel never lights up accordingly
- Yr gear at 3rd cant engage to 4th gear
- Yr reversed gear 'R' never go backwards
- Yr drop gear from 4th to 3rd sometimes stuck and jerks
- When u shift to 'P' or 'N' u cant starts the car
- As when u shits to 'D' or 1 or '2' u can starts the ignitions.
So Spectrans if happen you get all the above signs of faulty gearbox, Pls dont worry as it can be done to resolve it. Eventually if you need to do the service maintenance on yr auto transmission is to used Ori GENUINE ATF FLUID/ GENUINE KIA MOTOR ALLOY AUTO FILTER ETC...
The above picture indicates the first process to service and clean the all solenoid valves / auto valve body which is clogged with microns of tiny metal shits. On the left is where yr auto filter that should be change every 40k km interval that will give optimum atf flow.
The Auto Oil Sump Pan and 2 magnets that will trapped all metal shits due to high temp gear frictions
The below picture shows the auto oil sump pan is grind to resurfaced and clear the existing gasket.
