The most important on supervise yr car maintenance is 

• Always take note when yr next schedule on Replacing Timing Belt
• Service Maintenance yr Tempreture systems  to prevent overheating.

From both of this incident if you dont take serious action you will face more severe engine damage to ur car:-

1. Once if the Timing Belt SLIPS or Break OFF ....
2. Ur Tensioner Bearing is giving a squeeking sound ...chit..chit..chit
3. Ur Tempretrure indicator suddenly raised and touch the red zone 'H'.

Well bro this is what you will get....

If the Engine Temp raised up to 'H' marked (HOT)  you will ...

• The Engine suddenly stop dead and you cant starts it back
• After examine you will get a crack CYLINDER Head / BURNT gasket where coolant sips thru the engine bay 
• Piston will crack (hairline crack)

If yr Timing Belt either SLIPS from one of the Cam Pulley OR Yr Timing Belt Break Off you will..

• Totally severe damage crack/bent ur cylinder head block
• Damage all yr 16 valves assy
• Damage with a hole via yr piston and piston rings
• Bent yr Connecting Rod assy
• Severe damage yr crankshaft assy.

So from above scenario you need an Specialist Tech on handling the Major Overhaul to rebuilt back ur engine performance.
