SPECTRA BIGGEST NIGHTMARE !!!!

Salam To all Spectrans and Newbies,

Pleased be informed that I would like to send my deepest sympathy to our Spectran Members where his spectra is totally Burnt  via Engine and thru interior...

 As the photo above shown Totally Burn spectra t via its engine bay and interior cabin.
There are many possibilities which can occur such incident where:-

1. Using unauthorised parts
2. Modification parts such as motor fan, motor radiator,
3. Unauthorised alternators where current output is not consistence.
4. Short circuit on ur wiring esp leaks plug cable,leaks ignition coil where spark is produced.
5. Short circuit between the main fuse box circuit, harness wire burnt out.

So Spectrans pleased take extra precautions when getting parts for ur Spectra. U might not want this mishap occurs to u. Need more info or clearified or any doubt on yr car kindly rang me at 013-7849798 or 017-7200466.

Auto Transmission Leaks

Salam Spectrans,

This is the continuation of spectra transmission auto that leaks thru
1. Flywheel
2. Torque Converter
3.Right and left Driveshafts.
The below photos shows the leaks takes place and how to solve it.

The atf is leaking via the auto transmission gearbox where action must be done fast.!!

Process to lowered down the gearbox transmission

The Gearbox is ready for replacing its genuine OIL SEALS and cleaning.

My appointed workshop with a specialist skills in handling Kia Cars are installing new seals...

Finally a clean job is done...!! The gearbox is back to normal.

ATF Leaks @ Kia Spectra.

Salam Spectrans,

If happen u noticed a patch of oil drop on the floor as shown below:-

The atf transmissin fluids had a severe leaks mostly via
1.Auto oil sump pan
2.Torque Converter
3.Flywheel gear
4.Drive shafts assy.

What u need to do is the service and replaced new sets of auto filter,gasket and oils seals.

Photo shows the new ori Auto Filter is being install.

Auto oil sump pan is clean and two pcs magnetic ring.Applying silicone gum,gasket to prevent any atf leaking.

As this applies to all Spectrans and Especially to Newbies who just bought the Kia Spectra.
As unfortunately one members had his Spectra Timing belt snap off.
Lots of severe damage to the internal parts where u need ori genuine parts for replacements such as:-

Spectra Gear Problem (mechanical parts)

Pls be aware if our Auto Gear System failed to function properly. If we go and visit any workshop regarding our gear system failed will adviced to replaced the whole auto transmissiom.. So before we follows their simple diagnoss do asked frens or someone that u can asked.

This is the main problems all spectrans will faced as its wear and tear and also characteristic  of ur driving on auto transmission.

Stabilizers Link Assy @ Kia Spectra

My next info is important of replacement of stabilizers link left and right hand side Front & Rear.
To all Spectrans Whats is Stabilizers Link for ?
Well , it plays an important role for ur suspension system where the links acts as a components that take much punishment as u passed the potholes or imperfect road conditions.

The Stabilizers link holds the pairs of wheel via our shocks hook to its arm left and right.It have two balljoints connections that enable smooth and to prevent car from swaying when taking corners.The handle is tight, response and smooth as to prevent control loss on yr wheel.

The stabilizers link had both ends equipped with ball joint assy comes in one pair for Front & Rear.

Secondly always check the conditions of yr front Anti Roll Bar Bush where it will give unusual noise when driving on uneven road surface.As if the bar is not bent or whatsoever u just can Replaced the 2pcs bushes as shown belows.

Anti Roll Bar assy bush that had worn out due excessive wear and tear should be replaced at once before u lost control on yr wheels while high speed driving. Can reach me anytime for genuine parts. tq The wear and tear bush has hardened due to hairline cracks too.

PCV valve service maintenance for Spectra

Salam Spectrans,

Today I would like to info the PCV valve service maintenance in our Kia Spectra.
What is PCV stands for? It call "  POSITIVE CRANKASE VENTILATIONS".
Its function is drawn air from the crankcase inti the manifold through a vacumm.
This is to regulates air flow efficiently mixture of air and gasoline as it keeps the ventilations clean providing
constant circulation. Most spectran is not aware ,check or condition of this valve and hoses attached to it.

If the valve failure u will find out excess pressure can caused vapours back up into our air filter via throttle body where u will find ROUGH IDLE, JERKING when ACCELERATING as it must be replace every 50k km interval.
