Full service maintenance on Spectra air cond system.

Salam Spectrans,

Most spectra air cond will last and its cooling system is superb. The only one reason why most spectran are unaware that U NEED TO INSTALL THE ORI CABIN FILTER  specially made for spectra. As it is just D.I.Y. that takes 10 mins to installed it. It is situated at yr glove compartment where u will noticed the motor blower is on ur left , in the centre is the cabin filter storage compartment and cooling coil on the right hand side.

Why our air cond suddenly becomes hot air instead of cool fresh air.? The main reason is NO AIR COND CABIN FILTER INSTALLED  where all dirt, vapour,will be sucked thru the motor blower fan and directly caught via the cooling coil.As time goes on the coil will leaks where all gas evaporates that results cooling failed.

The above picture shows how bad is yr cooling coil where the MAIN REASON IS NO AIR COND CABIN FILTER IS INSTALLED. For those spectrans who had not install but the air cond is cold pleased install as soon as possible.  This indicates the coil is damage ,leaks due to dirt,water,stick to its aluminium fins which results leaks out gas.....

So in the end u need to service and replaced a new ori Cooling Coil. This is a long process where to service and replaced the air cond parts ,u need to dismantled the whole dashboard and as fr info to open itself only dashboard is aroung 250-280 on labour charge.
