Again Timing Belt Break Off !!!!

Salam Spectrans,

The above picture shows that another Spectran owner had a broken Snap Off Timing Belt.
Why and what is the main reason timing belt can break or even slips.

  • Spectra owners never care or knows the actual time for replacements of Timing Belt schedules.
  • Overdue date where most of the ribs tooth had totally worn out that results slips from its cam pulley
  • Tensioner bearing had totally wornt out as all its bearing is dry and rusted
  • Idler pulley bearing had wont out where alignment of Timing Belt derailed from its pulley
  • Leak engine oil seals that tarnish the Timing Belt.
  • Crack Timing Belt Cover via Top/Mid/and bottom sections where water and dirt can enters.
Normally what will u get when u had yr Timing Belt suddenly snapped Off:-

As a results u will find out all internal parts is Severely Damage due to the Impact of sudden stopped on ur pistons movements due to Timing Belt break off

  • Mostly yr Cylinder Head Block will crack /hair line crack due to impact
  • Yr 4 pc piston will get holes  due to penetrations from the in & out valves
  • Yr piston rings also will damage that sometimes crack the piston block
  • All yr gasket sets will eventually get burnt out due to extreme heat
  • Some will face the connecting rode ( either few or all 4 ) will severely bend.
  • Even most severe is the CRANKSHAFT that holds the piston up and down  crack or bend.

This is one of the Camshaft Pulley ( Twin Cam) where the rib tooth is all flat which could occus Slip of Timing Belt

This the lowest part from the Engine bay ie CRANKSHAFT ASSY  that links to the connecting rod which holds the pistons on it.
Wornt out cylinder head......$$$$

This the ori New Cylinder Head Block assy that need replacement due to crack head. It can be either
  •  Due to Broken Timing Belt
  • Due to Engine Overheats as it Reaches at Mark " H" ie around 150"c exreme heat.
  • Due to had done skimming that really prohibited on spectra cylinder head.
As over and over again I would 100% fully recomended using
  • Ori Dayco High Temp Timing Belt ( Made in Italy )
  • Ori heavy duty Tensioner Bearing
  • Ori Heavy duty Idler Pulley bearing assy
  • 3 pcs engine oil seals
  • Dayco Alternator Belt
  • Dayco Air cond Belts.
This are the full kit set originated by world wide used Dayco parts.

The ori Dayco parts / cover timing belts assy complete sets avialable stock.

So Spectrans who havent replaced yr Timing Belt can come forward or call 013-7849798/ 0177200466 fr more details/ info/ and appointed workshop area JB/KL and Pekan Kuantan . wasalam.
