Crack/Bubble DashBoard Kia Spectra.

Salam Spectrans,

From my feedback for few years back, lots of spectrans is having the problem on their Dashboard Assy, whereby the dashboard foam peel off, crack and some had bubbles bulging out.
Worst still at the front windscreen where 2 air vent grille assy from left to right had severely crack into half and if u leave it for long period of times it will become a severe crack along it....
As to bought a new genuine dashboard is not that cheap, as why it so happen like this........As for yr info our spectra Dashboard is made from a soft foam padded with vinyl layers. As in Korea they had four seasons cold, sunshine as winter too... This can withstand the dashboard to have easily crack or peel off.
Eventually for our weather which is extreme hot that easily exposed to direct sunlight and no shades for parking. So this is what happen below:-

Photo above shows one of our spectrans yr 04 had a peel off dashboard and crack air vent grille.

The yellow substance is a soft foam layered by the pu vinyl on top of it. Its a soft material and easily damage if left the car on hot sun day by day.....This will happen.
Can it be solve? Yup we can refurbish back the dashboard to its original shape as long we just need to get full sets of Ori Air Vent Grille assy to reattached it back, with some modifications....
Dont have to waste ur money by installing new Dashboard that cost thousand of rgt.....
