If anyone need to replaced yr Door Rubber Assy on all 4 doors where our Kia Spectra had 2 layer door rubber attached to it.:-
1. Via the Door pannel
2. Via the body pannel.

Most common Spectrans would come brittle and harderened rubber that will produced hairline cracks and will eventually leaks water in when on heavy rain or car wash.
The reason is the rubber door is crack where water can sips thru.
To overcome this matter u need to replaced all the 4 pcs door rubber assy as to prevent water,wind noise sip thru.

As most Spectrans had come across yr rear boot get soak with water.
There are few possibilities of leakage via yr  :-
1. Rear bonet rubber that is hardened and hairline cracks that water can sips thru.
2. Ur side left hand side rubber body antenna unit where its rubber seal had crack due to wear and tear.

The picture above indicates the silicone rubber which attached to our side body had crack due to exposed to extreme heat  where water can easily sips thru into yr rear boot compartment.
So to overcome it u need to replaced the whole antenna unit assy as kia motor dont services the rubber parts only as it comes complete set.

Another Timing Belt Break Off !!!

Salam Spectrans,

Again another our Spectrans had his Timing Belt Breaks off after using it for only 22k km mileage.

This what will happen to your Spectra if u come across " BREAK /SNAP OFF TIMING BELT"
THE PICTURE SHOWS THAT U WILL HAD A:-

• CRACK CYLINDER HEAD BLOCK DUE TO IMPACT OOF THE BREAK OFF.
• PISTON WILL GET A CRACK AND HOLES IMPACT FROM VALVES
• 16 VALVES WILL BENT
• PISTON RING CRACKED
• CONNECTING ROD WILL BENT
• WORST STILL U WILL GET A CRACK ON THE CRANKSHAFT ASSY.

THIS IS DUE TO :-

1. NEVER FOLLOWS THE SCHEDULE SERVICE MAINTENANCE TIME OF REPLACEMENT OVERDUE DATE.
2. USING IMMITATION CHEAP TIMING BELTS AND PARTS

Power Steering Fluid leaks.

Pls checked ur power steering fluid must at max level.
If u notice the max levels goes down indicates theres a leaks via ur:-

• Upper hose
• Lower hose
• Power steering mtor pump
• Hose from reservoir to the motor pump.

Pls always monitored all of the above hoses and parts.

All relevant parts might be leaks  due to wear & tear and insists on genuine parts only.
