1. PLS DONT SKIMM UR CYLINDER HEAD BLOCK AS IT WILL RESULT UR ENGIN SPECIFICATION IS VOID THAT CAN CAUSED UR CAR GETS EXTREME HEATS INTERNAL  WHICH CAN RESULT GASKET GET BURNT AND CRACK UR CYLINDER HEAD BLOCK.
2. IF HAPPEN YOU COME ACROSS TIMING BELT BREAKS OFF AND UR CAR OVERHEATS WHICH EVENTUALLY WILL RESULT YR CYLINDER HEAD WILL BENT OR HAIRLINE CRACK.

As for yr info our Spectra is equiped with a very sophiscated gadgets that have  alots of SENSORS unit install via our engine bay. Most of it will wear & tear due to extreme heat and not taken care properly. here some of common spectrans  who face the malfunctions and faulty parts such as:-

Spectra air cond sedrvice maintenance.

For all Spectra owners pls be informed on how to take care n tips the maintenace air cond in always cool states.

• Always inspect any leakage of gas.
• check the condition of ur cooling coil 
• Always install 2pcs ori genuine cabin filter.
• Inspect ur receiver dryer/ expansion valve.

This is what happen when u dont have or never install 2 pcs cabin filter situated in underneath yr dashboard.

The above photo shows how bad and contaminated with dirt and sludge which will make the c.coil leaks out gas and eventually yr air cond wont be getting cool air anymore.

This coil is been trapping dirt is due to NO AIR COND CABIN FILTER INSTALL into its compartment situated in between yr blower motor fan and cooling coil assy.

Insists on ori genuine cabin filter from korea specially fit into our cabin compartment.

Most spectrans encounters the Temp Blower Switch on yr left hand side 1-2-3-4 speed will find that the no 1 and 2 speed is malfunction no aircond but once switch to speed 3 & 4 the blower air cond ON. 

Most air cond shop will diagnoss to change the switch which comes on whole panel that cost thousand of ringgit.

Dont worry to all spectrans, theres a solution on it as we could dignoss either 

1. To check the conditions of yr blower motor
2. To inspect the blower motor switch sensor that controls the speed
3. To inspect the Temp Blower Speed knob at yr front dashboard panel.

If The NO 3 faulty no need to change the whole unit as I can get the internal switch electronic parts original from kia motor.

ori genuine spectra Alternator.

What is the function of an alternator?
As u know the alternator is an important parts of our car.
The defination of alternator is to keep our battery charge and help to provide  our vehicle electricity. once faulty or malfunctuion of alternator wil result our battery is drain out withdrawing electricity without getting fully charged our battery.

Symptoms Of Faulty Alternators.
Here are some common symptoms of our Spectra:-

• The correct and effectiveness to check our alternator is malfunction is testing using a voltmeter where if the reading shows between 13.8 to 14.9volts and dips down to 12.5 below indicates that ur ALTERNATOR is faulty.
• While ur are driving the ABS/ PARKING Brake/Battery icons lights up suddenly in yr meter panel.
• Yr front headlamp seems from a bright becomes dimmer and dimmer...
• Yr power window winds up and down is slightly slow than normal
• Yr drop gear from auto system jerks between from 4th gear to 3rd..
• Yr car feels stalling and slugish in terms of power and accelerations (heavy Consumption)

So Spectrans who had come across this either one symptoms pls take precaution as u might not want to stranded as the engine will died where the battery had completely drain out current.Dont ended ur car stranded by highways or byways where u need towing to the workshop and spend few hundred on tow trucks.....

If youygot one symptoms is sufficient to diagnoss ur alternator is giving up......Get for new ori genuine Alternators for replacements.

Pls insists on ORI GENUINE ALTERNATOR by KIA MOTOR / 80AMP> Follow the actual specs for our Spectra.

Pls  DONT USED RECONDS ALTERNATOR as its AMP is between 60-70amp only.

From my feedback from Spectrans who had used reconds alternators due to lake of knowledge had come accross short circuit to other electronic parts:-

• Most spectrans had their Main Switch Box Fuse beigh burnt of short circuit due to recond Alternators.
• Short circuit ur second fuse box under the dashboard where all 12-9pin sockets wire is burnt.
• Short circuit yr harness wire and effect ur injectors.
• The most severe part is short circuit the ECU ( Electronic Computer Unit.) which is costly.
• The RECOND Alternators seems wont last long as some will get it faulty within a month or up to 3 months.

So Spectrans pls be informed about this scenario where u bet spending a little bit on alternators but will secure ur oth electronic parts and prolong life spend on ur alternator.
