Spectra overheats ?

Salam Spectrans,

Overheats ? why?  Mainly Spectra lacks of info and service maintenance as well as wear and tear of relevant parts. Pls always monitored ur tempreture gauge indicator inside ur meter panel just above the fuel indicator.
As for normal Spectra engine Tempreture where the needle must at least slightly low than half or at 70-75'C where if the engine is slightly hot and reach 80-85'C  where a temp switch sensors will triggered and finally ur auto radiator motor fan and air cond motor fan will automatically spin to cools of the engine.
Besides that the coolant in the radiator tank will flow thru the radiator hose via a special thermostat which automatically opens its nozzle to gain entry coolant circulates the entire engine as to bring down the heat....

Most overheats occurs is due to
1. Cloged Radiator tank where contaminated coolant had rusted the internal flow that caused blocked.
2. Never flush out or change coolant every 10-15k km interval
3. Rusted thermostat that cause ur nozzle clogged and jammed
4. Leaks thermo pipes where coolant can leaks out.
5. Leaks and rusted water pump as need to be replaced every 80k km interval or every timing belt changed
6. Leaks via radiator hose on upper or lower part as the hose had hardened and crack at the edges.
7. Faulty air cond motor fan where the second speed is not working ( hi-speed)
8. Faulty Radiator motor fan assy

So Spectrans once either few of the parts is faulty or malfunction overheats will take place and if the needle touches marked 'H' ie very extreme hot ( 170-175;C) it will result our engine suddenly stop and died.
this is because
1. The cylinder head block is very extreme heat where the gasket will burnt out, hence the block will bent or crack which coolant will flow in the engine block which will damage our piston, piston rings and valves too.

As today I recvd  sms from a member spectran from Penang with bent cylinder head due to overheats .

Pictures above indicated our Spectran member just sent me the photo of his engine block that is bent due to overheats. indicates the valves is partially burnt out.Need to do overhauled where new cylinder head block replacements. Again I would personally advice members pls used ori genuine parts for our internal parets replacements.

Photos above shows the Ori Genuine parts that need replacement where
1.Alloy ori piston assy full set
2. Ori Genuine Cylinder head block that fully equipped with 16 pcs ori valve sets assy.

The Parts aboves shows for overheats problems where some need replacement due to wear and tear and also faulty lack to poor service maintenances.

So to all spectrans who had occurs slight overheats or coolant leaks or missing do rectified as soon as possible to prevent from more SEVERE Damages to ur internal engine bay. Can contact me for parts and quotation details to 013-7849798. 017-7200466 anytime. Happy Motoring.
