Brake Master pump Cylinder & Power Brake Servo Booster Spectra

This the actual diaghram of Spectra Brake system.
No 12 : Brake Fluid Tank Assy Reserve. Make sure u will have check the oil level to its maximum.
No 22: This is the whole complete assy of Spectra Master cylinder pump
No 5  : This is the brake servo booster where a master vacuum inside this black canister.

No 2  : This is the bracket where it is attached to the brake pedal

This is the BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUMP

The function and important of master cylinder pump :-
" A brake master cylinder converts pressure from the brake pedal into hydraulic power that causes the brakes on an automobile to operate. The master cylinder works in a similar manner to a syringe; as pressure is applied, the brake fluid is pushed out of the cylinder toward the brakes."
So guys pleased ensure yr master pump is in good condition where u must frequent monitored the fluid levels and checked any leaking from it seals.

Saya ingin menunjuk kepada members semua 2 gambar diatas adalah Ori Dayco Timing Belt yg pertama saya selepas Spectra saya mencecah 50k km untuk Belt Replacements.Saya telah mengguna Dayco belt pertama sekali sangat teruja dan mendapati Tooth Belt langsung tidak jejas,dalam keadaan masa pertama pasang, tiada crack pada atas dan dalam belt tersebut.....sbb tu saya masih menyimpannya sebagai rujukkan dan bukti keberkesanan guna jenama Ori Dayco ini.....
Selepas pertama kali siap pasang Dayco Belt ini saya dapati :-
1. Engine saya cukup senyap dan smooth
2. Idling R.P.M cukup consistence dan stabil.

Genuine Alternator @ Kia Spectra

Salam Spectrans,

This is the Ori Alternator For our Dear Fren Bro Azizi which had just ordered today. It will be delivered to him shortly.
As a nice conversations with him last night as  he got the feeling of unusual performance from his Spectra where a slight jerk on accelerations, dragging power while switch on the air cond etc etc......

Ini menunjukkan bahawa kuasa battery DIN 55 telah discharged dan alternator lama tidak lagi boleh berfungsi sepenuh 100%. Ini boleh di sebabkan , di alternator kita ada 3 diode yg menjana output 80 amp bagi charging battery sepenuh nya. Jika diodes ini tidak berfungsi maka mustahil ia boleh mengecas battery dan boleh merosakkan plates battery tersebut....

BRAKES SYSTEM @ Kia Spectra LS

The picture above " Brake Servo Booster " genuine parts for Spectra.

Function of this servo  " The vacuum booster is a metal canister that contains a clever valve and a diaphragm. A rod going through the center of the canister connects to the master brake pump on one side and to the pedal linkage on the other.
Faulty of servo booster bila vacuum booster dia crack ,as a result u will having floor board pedal at a sudden.Mesti segera tukar ,dimana braking system akan rosak dan merbahaya.

akhirnya.. alternator aku kong.. sperti biasa, simptom2 sblom kong:

-5 hari sbelum kejadian, xde pickup, FC sgt tinggi, gear change jerking (esp low gear)..

-1 hari sbelum kejadian, gear jerking makin kerap

- hari kejadian, 5 minit sblom breakdown radio off tiba2, lampu abs menyala, semua lampu indicator padam, padel minyak x respon, jarum rpm menggila , gear jerking, drop gear melompat sangkut sangkut akhirnya keta enjin mati

location - 200m selepas masuk tol sg besi @ 6.45pm

call tow truck minta auto assist, tow truck dtg kemudian, tow smpai kajang

masuk w/shop Service center alternator baru RM1k++ xde warranty!!!! recon RM650 warranty 3 bln.. Xde choice kopak 1,4++ tapi ori"....

adekah aku kene kelepet ngan SC? ke memang harge mcm tu??? Huhhhh ....."

Parts Piston/Piston Ring mesti guna ORI KIA MOTOR standard alloy Pistons.

Saya akan 100% fully recomends guna atau replaced ORI DAYCO TIMING BELT FULL KIT. Last saturday our member Bro Azizi just replaced the belts dan bila dah pasang he sms to me kereta CUN!! engine senyap, smooth dan accelerates ringan....

Ini adalah Spectra saya yang menggunakan ORI Dayco Timing Belt full kit ,set yang kedua. Dayco Belt yang pertama sy boleh guna sampai 95K km bila di buka mmg tak ada cikit jejas pd tooth rib dia. MMg sy puas hati .Sebab ia di buat from europe country dan R&D nya claim warranty up to 100k km  fr next change. Bukan Kia Belt 50k km nk cepat tukar, so kita save masa,duit, labour.....

As for today, sy menerima byk panggilan ,antara nya Bro Nizam dari K.Trengganu. Beliau mengalami putus timing belt dimana kerosakkan agak ketara iaitu

1. Piston berlubang akibat di cucuk oleh valve.
2. Piston ring crack due to impact kuat
3. Yang paling ketara ialah Cylinder Head nya crack,valve semua bengkok (16) btg....
4. Conrode sleeves assy 3 bengkok.
5. Overhauled full kit gasket
6. Main bearing
7. Conrode bearing
8. Thrust bearings
9. New timing belt ( fully recommend Ori Dayco t.belt full kit warranty 100k km)
10.water pump / thermostat assy/ radiator hose/ etc...

So untuk semua spectran harap ambil perhatian jgn ambil sambil lewa, dr tukar t.belt for few hundred dr buang duit beribu.

Apa yg bro nizam cakap dlm phone workshop to carikan USED CYLINDER HEAD for 2000-00 belum masuk new 16 btg valve lagi. As sy boleh dpt harga begitu tapi ori kia motor cylinder head polished siap dgn 16 btg valves siap pasang dr korea.dah setting.

So ini ada lah asam garam jika kita leka ttg service maintenance schedules.

Ori genuine main sub shafts assy for Kia Spectra

Ori Genuine CV joint that attached via the outer part of a driveshafts thats locate at the wheel hub.

A drive shaft is the part of an automobile that transfers power to the wheels. It is a long tubular hollow shaft the connects from the end of the transmission. This will eventually rotates our front wheels by its heavy duty CV Joint (Constant Velocity) bearings.

 When driving, the transmission turns the drive shaft which turns the gears in the rear differential, this is how the torque is distributed from the transmission to the rear front shafts.

Important how to take care ur Driveshafts from Faulty.

1. Never full turn on yr steering when making U turn. This will make the cv boot becomes wear n tear faster.
It will results the greese to comes out and dirt ,water and debris will trapped inside the cv joint bearing that will caused CORROSIOB..Rust.Then u will hear a tak..tak..tak sound where bearing is hitting each other that produced the sound.
2. The inner part also faulty due to wear and tear and the symptoms is when u try to accelerates from 30-40kmh to 70-80kmh u will find the car rattles either left /right or both esp via the dashboard and steering wheel.

so this indicates u had a free play inner d.shafts that cause the rattling.Pls replaced at once!!
Pls be advice as many members had come across faulty driveshafts bought within few month will default again as it is truely that they are using RECONDS Driveshafts that cost 280-400 each. As for ur info Service Center is selling One (1) pc driveshafts +- 1,699.00 each. Definate its genuine parts,.

Full flushing @ Spectra Auto gear transmission.

Salam to all Spectrans & Newbies.

Pls be informed for those who have not do FULL FLUSHING on their Gear box system, thru the entire life of yr spectra.

For yr info to do Full Flushing is differ from normal atf oil change.
In terms of flushing where u need a Special Flushing Machines in order to vaccum out thru a special tube ,sucking all the Contaminated atf oil ( dark black/ brown ) where the atf oil had no Viscosity to lubricates the internal parts of ur gear box system.
If this prolongs u will have a Faulty Gear Box where normal bad symphtoms occurs such as

1. Car shifts jerks when driving from D-2-3-4.

2. When engaged to D the car takes few second to move forward.

3. Lack of power when climbing roadhills.

4. The auto tranmission is in extreme heat due to dirty atf oil full of sludge.

So members should take extra precaution on how to maintain ur auto gear box.
It should be flushed every 40k km or 2 years and parts u need is

1. Ori Atf kia spectra SPIII gear oil ( 12 litres ) or 3 bottles. Beware of immitation oil
2. Ori aluminium Auto Filter
3. Ori auto oil sump pan gasket
4. Must use a flushing machine in order to flushed all the oil.

For those staying kl/ Jb theres a appointed workshop fr spectran to do flushing.
